This is the book that finally brings the history and exploits of the S.A.A.F gloriously alive. the most comprehensive book on South Africa's air power. The book gives you a fascinating account of the S.A.A.F though the Second World War, Korea and , closer to home, the operational area along the southern frontier of Angola.
The book with its unique photographs is the result of a labour of love stretching over many years by two enthusiastic South Africans, one himself a previous pilot with the S.A.A.F the other a physician who would much rather have been a pilot. They poured over thousands of photographs and personal stories - before finally selecting those reproduced here to recall vividlt actions of the S.A.A.F, actions which go a long way to explaining the world wide reputation of the S.A.A.F for valour and deadly efficiency.
