Elder Dempster was a Liverpool shipping company trading from the Mersey to West African ports with a fleet of passenger liners and cargo vessels. All of their 514 sea-going ships are described in this detailed illustrated Fleet List. There are 240 scale profile drawings covering 492 vessels. The 24 vessels left out are some minor 19th century vessels, tugs and barges.
