For his second season with Ford, Didier Auriol changed his main sponsor. Now under the colours of “Panach”, the 1983 “Echappement Hope” got off to a bad start in 1988. But from the third rally onwards, he was back on the winning track. And by winning the mythical Tour de Corse, he became a legend in French rallying, just like his white and green Sierra!
