LOT was the first European airline to operate the Boeing 787. Since the arrival of the first aircraft in 2012, the Dreamliner has become the flagship of the Polish airline. In addition to the eight 787-8s in its fleet, seven more 787-9s with extended fuselages were added in 2018 and 2019 to further expand its international route network.
