The 1991 BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) season was the first year that the Super Touring regulations replaced the Gr.A. BMW and Vauxhall are competing in this new category and there is a duel of outsiders for the drivers' title. In the end, it was Will Hoy who won the 1991 title with his BMW E30 M3 in the colours of Listerine, his best result in his 20-year career!
