The BMW Isetta is a German passenger car (the so-called micro-car), which was presented to the general public for the first time in 1954 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its serial production took place in the years 1954-1962. The car was powered by a single 1- or 2-cylinder engine with power from 12 to 19.5 HP. The BMW Isetta was a license version of the Iso Isetta, and the production rights for this vehicle were purchased in the early 1950s, and later BMW decided to adapt the car to propulsion units of its own production. The BMW Isetta was a small city car with an emphasis on the smallest possible dimensions of the vehicle. In the course of production, three main versions were created: the Isetta 250, Isetta 300 and BMW 600, which differed from each other in the drive unit used, and the last model also had a door for passengers in the rear part of the vehicle.
