The A330 MRTT is a highly versatile aircraft, suitable for aerial refueling, medical evacuation, and the transport of cargo and personnel. T-061 was the eighth of the current 10 aircraft delivered to NATO's Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF). All tanker aircraft are registered with the Royal Netherlands Air Force and are based at Eindhoven Air Base. The six participating nations are Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and the Czech Republic. Denmark has indicated its intention to join the MMF and plans to purchase two more A330 MRTTs for this successful multinational aircraft pool. In addition to the hose reels on the underside of the wings, this new mold features the refueling boom at the rear, which can be displayed in two positions on this 1:200 scale model.
