The "Baja Bugs" are Volkswagen Beetles modified to compete in off-road races in North America and Mexico. These races are called "Baja", hence the name of this high-legged Beetle! These vehicles with their very particular sound quickly found themselves on everyday roads with, at the wheel, enthusiasts wanting an original car!
